𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘴 | Audio-visual Performance

Join us on Thursday 19 September at 7:30pm for an audio-visual performance curated by @husseinnakhal as part of the Foreshadows public program.

This performance is part of a larger framework of thinking about noise bringing together six talented artists to explore the intersection of sound and visuals through an experimental live session of listening and observation.

Featuring sounds by @rheadally , @aaaafram , and @omar_____itani , and visuals by @machine_yearning_ , @davidhabchy and @alijdalloul

The evening will also include the launch of a zine, meticulously printed, collated, and bound by @waraq_org Using the interview format, the aim of the publication is to create encounters, fragments of time-space: situations of miscommunication, where we fall into a temporality of conversing and then publish.

انضموا إلينا في حفل “عتبات”، من تقييم حسين نخّال جزء من”noise”, البرنامج العام لمعرض “هواجس”. هذا الحفل الموسيقي هو جزء من إطار عملٍ أوسع للتفكير في مفهوم “noise”. سيجتمع ستة فنانين يعملون في مجال المرئيات والأصوات بهدف التّجريب والتأمّل والاستجلاء خلال جلسة حيّة من الاستماع والمشاهدة.

يضم أصوات ريا دلّي، أفرام شمعون، وعمر عيتاني، ومرئيات ندى زنهور، ودافيد حبشي، وعلي ج. دلول. سيتضمن العرض أيضاً إطلاق مجلة قامت بطبعها وجمعها وتجليدها جمعية وَرَق. باستخدام صيغة المقابلة، فإن الهدف من النشر هو خلق لقاءات، وأجزاء من الزمان والمكان: حالات سوء التواصل، حيث نقع في زمن الحديث ثم النشر
