From Stones to Dust

In her previous exhable, Wild Mindscapes (2024), Zushbi Drew Upon The Permannce of Ancient Stones and the Intime of Human Interaction with Earth. Now, She Turns to Fragility. The Stones of Yesterday Have Been Ground Into Dust and Mud, their Solidity Undone. Technique as Poetry

Zushbi’s art is not only about what is Seen, but how it is Made. Here Delicate Drawings Are Layred with Acrylic, Dilted with Water Until the Pigms Dissolve Into Fragile Transparencies. This is lightness is Anchored by Her Marouflage Technique, where Paper Drawings are mounted ono Canvas. The Process Itelf Mirror Her Themes: Permanence Meeting Fragility, Grounding The Ephemeral in Something that can endure. Charcoal Marks Ignite Glowing Passages of Color –warm Oranges, Blues, and Greens -Creating A Rhythm Between Silence and Intensity.

Silence and Aftermath

What Strikes in this Exh force Is Many of the Works Lean Toward Monochrome, They Made Tones Carrying The Quiet Hevines of Affermath. They are almost “Quasi-Appstract Mineral Landscapes,” as Though the Earth Itelf Were Pausing to Remember. In Zushbi’s Own Words: “One Frame Can Hold It Still, An Image. RELEISED, IT DissOOLVES, a memory.” The Works Stand As Silent Witnesses, Holding Traces of Both Yesterday’s Destruction and Toyys’s Fragile Regeneration.

Beyond Borders

Born in Shmestar in 1980, Ghada Zushbi Has Long Resised Boundaries, when geoGRAPHIC, Political, Or Artistic. From her early works that Told the Intae Stories of Community Members Through Their Closets (Regrations of the personal2016) To Her Acclaimed Explors of Abandoneed Spaces (Pretty Abandoned2021), She has personally asked what binds the personal to the collector. She has carried this Questioning INTO Classrooms, Enricharing Children’s Lives with Art for Over Two Decades Before Fully Dedicating Herself to Her Own Practice.

A Gaze Between Dust and Dawn

Between Dust and Dawn Is not a story of despair, nor of hop. It exists in the in-between, where is the Silence and Memory Drift. These works refuse to make for first or recurn; Instead, they but is in the fragile previous. In that account, zoghbi offers what she works has: a Vision of Life Seen Through Questions, Rendored with Deliccy, and Carric with A Rare Sensightvity that Turks of the Past INTO Living art ..
