His Excellency Mr. Gregory Galligan, Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, made an official visit to the Makhzoumi Foundation, where he met with the President, Mrs. May Makhzoumi. During the visit, His Excellency was accompanied by Mrs. Mirna Shidrawi and was given a comprehensive tour of the Foundation’s facilities.
The Ambassador visited the Foundation’s various departments and programs, gaining in-depth insight into its humanitarian, educational, and social initiatives, as well as its ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities across Lebanon. The visit also provided an opportunity for constructive discussions on areas of shared interest, potential avenues for collaboration, and the importance of international partnerships in advancing sustainable development and creating lasting social impact.

Strengthening international partnerships
His Excellency the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Gregory Galligan, made an official visit to the Makhzoumi Foundation, where he met with the Foundation’s President, Mrs. May Makhzoumi. During the visit, His Excellency was accompanied by Mrs. Mirna Chedrawi, where he was briefed on the various departments of the institution during a comprehensive tour of its facilities.
The tour included learning about the humanitarian, educational and social programs and initiatives implemented by the Foundation, in addition to its ongoing efforts to support the most needy groups in various Lebanese regions. The visit also represented an opportunity to hold constructive discussions about areas of common interest, possibilities for future cooperation, and the importance of international partnerships in promoting sustainable development and creating a sustainable social impact.
