The Constitutional Council unanimously responded to the three appeals submitted by the “Lebanese Forces,” the “Free Patriotic Movement,” and a number of change representatives to extend the extension of the House of Representatives, and affirmed the necessity of shortening the extended mandate once the state of emergency ceases. It considered that “shortening the mandate is a national and constitutional obligation.”
The Constitutional Council of the State Shura Council had met temporarily with all its members and the absence of Judge Omar Hamza due to illness.
