The “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc issued the following:
The Lebanese authority entered our dear homeland, Lebanon, into a new phase that is extremely dangerous to its existence as a sovereign, free and independent nation, to its territorial integrity, to the safety of its people, to its internal cohesion and its national unity, when it submissively submitted to American dictates and went towards the option of direct negotiation with the Zionist enemy, contrary to the national will and in disdain for the National Charter and all the foundations of power in the country, the first of which is its heroic resistance and its steadfast, sacrificial people.
The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc studied the situation in light of the escalation of the Zionist aggression in its crimes against Lebanon and concluded the following:
1- The authority has placed the country in great evil and a great predicament by complying with the Washington administration and submitting to Israeli dictates. It has renounced all the commitments that it had announced as preconditions for entering into any negotiating process, which is the condition of a ceasefire and the enemy’s withdrawal from the occupied territories. It chose to resort to direct negotiation even without fulfilling any of these two conditions, which the enemy met with more attacks and massacres, especially on Black Wednesday, which led to the death of hundreds of martyrs. And more than a thousand wounded in various Lebanese regions, and by dictating its conditions entirely on the Lebanese side without the slightest regard for any Lebanese interest or national sovereignty. We have to ask those who drifted away and rushed towards the option of negotiation if they were able to perform a service or bring benefit to Lebanon by adopting this path that almost wastes fate. We also have to alert to the dangers of gradually sliding towards Israeli traps and the blackmail that the enemy is adopting with those who appear to be… A desire to negotiate with him, by luring them into phone calls, shaking hands, or exchanging congratulations and condolences.
2- We affirm the commitment to a cautious ceasefire, provided that it covers all Lebanese regions, including the border area, that it includes a cessation of hostilities and a restriction of the enemy’s freedom of movement, and that it is a prelude to Israeli withdrawal… The ceasefire was reached primarily against the backdrop of Iranian pressure and communications. Restricting the ceasefire to a period of ten days is with the aim of blackmailing the Lebanese government and accelerating the path of Direct negotiations will have bad and dangerous effects.
3- The bloc of all our Lebanese people, especially the families of the martyrs and the wounded, extends its deepest condolences to the martyrs, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, and believes that their sacrifices, steadfastness and steadfastness are what preserved the country’s pride and dignity and will preserve its existence, independence and sovereignty and achieve its complete liberation, God willing. And while adhering to the option of resistance to confront the Zionist encroachment and immorality in targeting the regions And the towns in all the Lebanese governorates are placing the institutions of the international community and the human rights and humanitarian organizations in the world before their responsibilities regarding the crimes, massacres, indiscriminate destruction, and the genocidal method adopted by the Zionist enemy in Lebanon under the watchful eye of the countries that claim to be concerned for security, peace, and human rights.
4- The authority has placed itself and the country before dangerous challenges, by adopting an approach of negligence, concession, and surrender to the will of the enemy. Its diplomacy and alleged propaganda could not save a soul or prevent an attack on the land and sovereignty. Rather, it placed Lebanon on a dangerous path represented by its inability to meet the demands of the Zionist enemy and its impossible conditions, which affect national sovereignty, the security of the homeland, and its internal peace, and threaten to rob it of its natural resources.
5- Before the announcement of the ceasefire, the resistance recorded a continuation of its heroic response to the Israeli enemy’s attempts to occupy our southern villages. The resistance recorded legendary epics despite the scale of the raids, bombing and destruction. They prevented the enemy from establishing its focal points while it was searching in disappointment for an image of victory that would compensate for the magnitude of its failures. The bloc stopped at the Battle of Bint Jbeil, from which the enemy wanted to achieve an imaginary achievement, but the resistance fighters thwarted his efforts through their great steadfastness and steadfastness. Their sacrifices, this enemy resorted, as usual, to destruction and adopted a scorched earth policy. The steadfastness of Bint Jbeil is a living example of the will to resist and the sacrifices of its weakness, with an unbreakable will and unyielding determination.
