The Army Command denounced the incident that took place with a patrol from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon – UNIFIL in the Ghandouriyah – Bint Jbeil area, as a result of an exchange of fire with gunmen, which led to injuries among the patrol members.
The command confirmed the continuation of close coordination with UNIFIL during the current delicate stage, noting that the army is conducting the necessary investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
