Afghanistan calls for the continuation of the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran: to end the war in the region

On Thursday, Afghan Foreign Minister Amirkhan Mottaki called for the continuation of the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran, hoping that the Islamabad negotiations would contribute to ending the “dangerous war launched in the region.”

Mottaki stressed that his country “is betting on a bright future for the countries of the region, away from wars and foreign interference.”

He added, “The participation of an Iranian sports team in the Kabul competitions, despite the war conditions, embodies the spirit of steadfastness and determination of the Iranian people.”
