Although most of Al-Manar’s viewers are believers or from a believing environment (not to mention other environments that follow the station) who do not utter blasphemy and do not want to hear it… there are those who “liked” my blasphemy during my interview with my colleague Imad Marmal, and gave it a title, “The First blasphemy on Al-Manar”… and its spread spread like wildfire locally, Arably and internationally, where Lebanese and Arabs, as well. The comments indicated.
In my speech, I was responding to a question about those who focus on the material cost of war and count the houses that are being destroyed and do not pay attention to the human being, to the people who reside in the houses… men, women, the elderly, and children, that is, the souls. These are more important if they are lost or if they survive, not the cost of the house. You see young minds and souls asking about quarantine and ignoring humans, souls and the existential anxiety of living in wars. I could not contain my anger at those merchants in politics.
However, my “infidelity” on “Al-Manar” became millions of infidels because it became a “trend” and is repeated on all means of communication between Lebanon, the Arab world and the diaspora in an insane manner… and I received responses from all sides!
I apologize again to God, to Al-Manar, and to the viewers. But the most beautiful thing I saw was that most of the responses understood my anger, and passed my statement peacefully with the phrase, “God is Forgiving and Merciful.”
It remains for God to forgive or not forgive Fouad Siniora, to whom I was responding because he was the author of the cost theory.
And truly, truly, I tell you that I heard “blasphemy” in the video once, and I felt disgusted with myself, and I did not repeat it.. That is because in my ordinary life I am not an infidel, and I do not accept hearing about blasphemy, and I consider its person to be absurd and empty, even if the utterance of words is present, as you know from my “posts,” and it is called upon by the statements of politicians and their malicious positions, more than it is called for by them. My nature.. and I have an article for every position..
