Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, received at the headquarters of the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh/ the head of the Syndicate of Pharmacists in Lebanon, Abdel Rahman Al-Marqbawi, and members of the Syndicate Council, in the presence of Mahdi Ayoub, the official of the central office of unions and free professions in the Amal Movement./ The meeting dealt with the general situation and union affairs //
Speaker Berri also received the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Middle East Airlines, Muhammad Al-Hout, who briefed President Berri on the company’s conditions and work programs, especially during the last phase of the war//
The Chairman of the Council praised the company’s national role and the efforts of its president and employees, stressing the importance of its role in ensuring communication between Lebanon and abroad in various circumstances.
In turn, Al-Hout thanked President Berri for the continuous support he provides to the company in various fields //
Speaker Berri also received the new ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Dosari, on a protocol visit after assuming his new duties as his country’s ambassador to Lebanon//
The visit was also an occasion during which developments in the general situation in Lebanon and the region and bilateral relations between the two countries were presented ///
