The Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei, spoke on Saturday about the United States’ violation of its obligations under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, stressing that the Iranians have “unforgettable lessons” for the Americans, and stressing the necessity of maintaining unity among the Iranian people.
“There is no point in the United States signing… and the Iranians have unforgettable lessons for it.”
Mr. Khamenei said, in a message published by the IRNA news agency: “At a time when the flag of Iran’s martyr was raised, the Great Satan’s repeated violation of the agreements signed between the presidents of Iran and the United States demonstrated to everyone once again the futility and invalidity of the American president’s signature, and that bullying, tyranny, and brutality are an integral part of American ideology and its profession.”
He added: “Today, the Great Satan revealed his true face, so that this dark experience of crime and broken promises becomes another conclusive evidence of America’s lying, illogical, unreliable, and despicable nature.”
He continued: “Now that the American enemy has sought to ignite the fuse of war and inflict on it heavy losses and greater shame, let it know that the beloved people of Iran and the resistance front have unforgettable lessons for them, just as the courage of the soldiers of Islam and the enthusiasm of the valiant people of the south have become evident these days.”
“One of the most important principles is adherence to sacred unity at all levels.”
On the internal level, the Leader of the Revolution and the Republic stressed the necessity of maintaining unity among Iranians, as he said: “It is necessary to tell you, O loyal and proud Iranian people, that one of the most important principles at this time is adherence to the unity of the word and sacred unity at all levels of the people and officials and in all fields to achieve the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and guarantee the honor and independence of our beloved Iran, especially in the face of the cunning, criminal American enemy.”
He added: “As previously emphasized repeatedly, preserving unity and avoiding division, conflict, political differences, and highlighting social differences is a global duty. Of course, the role of officials and elements sympathetic and loyal to the revolution, the imam, and the martyr leader in the cohesion and unity of the country is extremely important and sensitive.”
“Trust in officials ensures the protection of Iran’s interests.”
Likewise, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei warned that criticism of the performance of officials must not turn into “injustice to the innocent or to the collapse of unity and social cohesion.”
He said: “Dear people, by continuing your trust in the loyal officials in all three branches of the state, whose efforts are evident for the well-being and happiness of the nation, you will remain vigilant and active in the field to ensure the protection of Iran’s Islamic interests.”
He added: “Some sincere, well-intentioned officials may criticize the performance of others. In my opinion, although this concern for both the system and oneself is a valuable and desirable asset, these dear people, some of whom are thought leaders, must beware of adopting this approach.”
Mr. Khamenei explained his directives by saying, “He does not allow injustice to the innocent, which in itself is a source of deprivation of blessings and good things. And also because it should not lead to the collapse of unity and social cohesion,” adding: “By preserving these aspects, criticism will lead to prosperity and prosperity.”
“Farewell to the Iranian martyr was a historical epic and an unprecedented revival.”
In addition, Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei spoke about the funeral of the martyred international leader, Mr. Ali Khamenei, describing it as a “historical epic.”
He said: “O great and amazing nation of Iran! Greetings, peace and thanks to you, who have demonstrated, through your unique historical epic in commemorating the farewell of the martyr of Iran, a new standard in embodying the message and will of the strong Iranian Islamic identity, in gratitude, loyalty, insight and expression of exceptional love for the leader of the Islamic nation and the martyr leader of the revolution.”
He added: “The warmth of sad hearts, tears in eyes, and the steadfast resolve of tens of millions of people across dozens of kilometers in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and other cities and villages have impressed the friends of the Iranian nation and the free peoples of the world, and astonished the arrogant enemies of the Iranian nation, confused them, angered them, and terrified them.”
“Thanks to the Iranian people and the efforts of the authorities and elites in bidding farewell to the martyr of Iran.”
In the same context, Mr. Khamenei expressed his thanks to the Iranian people for their participation in the farewell ceremony of the martyred leader, and to the authorities for their efforts in organizing this event.
He said: “I express my sincere appreciation to every dear individual who participated in mourning the nation’s martyr, and who, despite the difficulties and challenges, contributed to writing a historical epic about this momentous event.”
He added: “I also extend my sincere thanks to the distinguished authorities of tradition, the scholars, thinkers, elites, cultural, social and political activists, the efforts of state institutions and the army, and the presence of officials and representatives of the Glorious Resistance Front and the great Islamic movements.”
