Bagel spots aren’t THAT common in Lebanon, with a few scattered spots that serve bagels and only a handful of bagel shops around the country. Fortunately for bagel enjoyers, there’s a new spot that recently opened in Gemmayze that we’re putting on your radar.
Located right next to vibrant community spot GOŪ, The Bagel Shop might be small but it’s hard to miss.

Made fresh every day, this spot has plenty of flavors to keep you satisfied any time of the day. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite to keep your energy up.
You can expect classic picks, like plain, sesame, 12-grain, and everything bagels, alongside standout flavors such as olives and cheddar jalapeño. The cream cheese keeps the lineup of things interesting too, with OG cream cheese, garlic and herbs, sriracha cream, and pesto cream cheese.

For a local touch, there’s labneh and sea salt, plus bagels stacked with labneh, zaatar, and fresh veggies. Other more filling options include chickencado, harbor tuna, and egg salad and cheese.
This weekend, a street-curated pop-up will be taking over GOŪ. There will be a selection of t-shirts, accessories, skateboards, and other random gems you might want to get your hands on. Looking for an excuse to try The Bagel Shop? Stop by for fresh bagels, good coffee, and a browse while you’re there.
Happening on: Saturday, May 9th from 11 AM until 7 PM
