The Vice President of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, sent a message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which falls tomorrow, Saturday, according to the council’s statement, in which he considered that “the highest degree of piety is what our children do on the fronts in the face of the enemy of God, the homeland, and humanity in the face of the line of demons and demons. Child killers in Palestine, Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
He added: “May God bless your Eid as you celebrate it displaced in the streets, in the cold and under the rain, where there is no shade to protect you except the shadow of God Almighty. You are the people of piety and raised foreheads. They wanted to humiliate you, so God honored you, and they wanted to break your strength and defeat you, so God gave you victory and provided you with strength from where they did not feel. When they thought they had evacuated the south from you, lo and behold, you were on the first lines and you would sprout, And you will conquer your enemy in the majestic city of tents with your heads held high, and in Al-Adissa and Al-Taybeh, which was blessed with the flow of pure blood on its hills and plains. You will vanquish the aggressing invaders, and on all the hills and hills in the land of glory and pottery of the land of Mount Amel Al-Ashm, where you write the pages of eternal glory and glory, practicing the Eid prayer in its most beautiful and purest form.”
He continued: “This is how the Eid will be, O honorable sons of Jabal Amel. Your Eid is in conquering your enemy. Blessed are you and your Eid and all your Eid are victories that you record in the fields of honour. You are not the one who wants life at any cost, even with humiliation and submission to the enemy’s conditions and surrender to his will. These people do not differentiate between virtue and shame, nor between pride and humiliation, and you have proven in action, not in words only, “How far is it from humiliation… and death is better than us.” Of riding shame.”
He pointed out, “My advice to our honorable people as they prepare to perform the Eid prayer tomorrow, as they were able to pay the zakat on your money in turn after paying the zakat on your bodies, as you complied with God Almighty’s command of fasting the limbs, is that those of us who are able to provide the zakat on the day of Eid to the needy among our honorable people who were sheltered by the brutal aggression and the failure of officials in their duty, and to provide relief to them.”
He added, “Twenty days have passed since the American-Israeli aggressive war against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon and its repercussions on the countries of the region and the world,” recording a number of observations.
He explained that “the United States of America got involved in this war for wrong reasons, so it bet on the fall of the regime in Iran from the first strike, or at least that it would surrender to its will and go to negotiations in which it would make humiliating concessions,” adding that “Iran is fighting at the same pace at which the war began and was able very quickly to regain the organization of its internal affairs.”
He pointed out that “the American administration set from the beginning four days to end the war, then it was extended to four weeks, and for ten days it has been talking about overwhelming victories and the crushing of Iranian military capabilities, while Iran is fighting with all its strength and tirelessly despite the costs it is incurring as a result of the aggression,” considering that “the United States is searching for the appropriate way out to stop this war.”
Regarding the Lebanese issue, he pointed out that “the Zionist entity that bet on the fall of Iran and the crushing of the resistance in Lebanon is facing fierce resistance in more than one axis,” pointing to “the vitality of the resistance and its readiness for confrontation.”
He recorded “the extent of abandonment and laxity on the part of the Lebanese political authority in the face of aggression, even in the political situation,” adding that “the enemy refuses to negotiate with this authority as a result of the free concessions it made.”
He continued, “The Lebanese authority today is implementing an American operational order when it cedes Lebanon’s interests day after day to the enemy,” considering that “its initiatives are nothing but an implementation of American dictates.”
He added, “The decision to confiscate weapons and the illegality of the resistance is a shameful position,” calling on the authority to “retract this step and adhere to the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Nabih Berri.”
He stressed that “resistance in all its forms is a legitimate right for any nation to liberate its occupied land, and it is the strategic choice in confronting the enemy,” considering that it is “a jihad for the sake of God that cannot be abandoned.”
He stressed “internal national unity,” warning against “involvement in strife and internal fighting,” calling for “the language of dialogue and reason to prevail.”
