Axios quoted informed sources as saying that US envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held negotiations that lasted more than three hours with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in Geneva.
According to the sources, the third round of talks was held in two formats: Indirect and direct between the American and Iranian sides, indicative of relative progress in the form of communication between the two parties.
The report added that the Iranian delegation presented during the meetings its expected draft proposal regarding a possible nuclear agreement, without revealing the details of its content.
The Omani Foreign Minister also participated in the negotiations, along with the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, as part of diplomatic efforts aimed at converging views.
