Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei confirmed that Iran had received some proposals through mediators, noting that the fifteen-item American plan was conveyed through Pakistan and some friendly countries.
Baghaei added: “We announced that these proposals are extremely exaggerated, unusual and illogical… We have prepared our responses and will announce them explicitly whenever necessary.”
He continued: “Tehran’s position was conveyed through mediators, and it is natural that these messages will continue to be conveyed.”
He stressed that “the negotiations are not compatible with an ultimatum or the threat of committing a war crime.”
