Sometimes, the simplest things can make a big difference… light.
At Camille Chamoun Sports City, which hosts many displaced families, the Makhzoumi Foundation team provided a power generator to help light the site and improve living conditions in the spaces that have been turned into temporary shelters.
This intervention was carried out in collaboration with the Beirut Municipality and the Disaster Risk Management Room in the Beirut Governorate, as part of joint efforts to ensure a safer and dignified environment for families staying at the sports city.
A small step in appearance, but one that brings families greater safety during long nights of uncertainty.

Light for families
Sometimes, the simplest things can make a big difference…light.
In Camille Chamoun Sports City, which hosts a large number of displaced families, the Makhzoumi Foundation team provided an electric generator to contribute to lighting the site and improving living conditions inside the spaces that have been transformed into a place for families to live. This intervention came in cooperation with the Beirut Municipality and the Disaster Risk Management Chamber in the Beirut Governorate, as part of joint efforts to ensure an environment of safety and dignity for families residing in the Sports City.
A small step on the face of it, but it gives families a greater sense of security during long nights of waiting.
