Staff from Makhzoumi Foundation recently took part in a two-day awareness training in Beirut aimed at strengthening the capacity of PSEA Focal Points. The training introduced core concepts related to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) investigations, including the purpose and scope of investigations, administrative investigation dos and don’ts, and the safe handling of allegations, reporting, and referrals.

Strengthening capacities in prevention and accountability
The Makhzoumi Foundation team recently participated in a two-day awareness-raising training in Beirut, aimed at strengthening the capacities of people tasked with preventing sexual exploitation and abuse. The training covered basic concepts related to investigations into cases of exploitation and abuse, including the purpose and scope of investigations, what should and should not be done in administrative investigations, as well as mechanisms for safely handling allegations, reporting, and referrals.
