The Environment/Development Program at Makhzoumi Foundation continues to communicate and coordinate with municipalities and associations with the aim of collaborating and increasing green spaces across various regions of Lebanon. The program has been ongoing for more than twenty years, producing seedlings of fruit trees, ornamental trees, flowers, and aromatic plants at Makhzoumi Foundation Nursery in Akkar. It also contributes annually to expanding green areas and raising awareness among new generations about the importance of tree planting, environmental protection, and biodiversity conservation.

Expanding green spaces

The Environment and Development Program at the Makhzoumi Foundation continues to communicate and coordinate with municipalities and associations with the aim of cooperating to increase green spaces in various Lebanese regions. Note that the program has been continuing for more than twenty years in producing seedlings of fruit trees, ornamental trees, flowers and aromatic plants, within the Makhzoumi Foundation nursery located in Akkar, and contributing annually to increasing green spaces and educating new generations about the importance of afforestation, protecting the environment and preserving biodiversity.
