It is a story of humanitarian work adapting to the circumstances! More than 650 hot meals were distributed in one night to support families in the heart of Beirut…During a month when Makhzoumi Foundation usually focuses its efforts on Ramadan initiatives, the crisis has created a different reality this year. With the increasing number of displaced families at Camille Chamoun Sports City, Ramadan activities quickly shifted into an emergency humanitarian response, providing iftar and suhoor meals for families far from home. Day and night, the Foundation’s teams work to distribute hot meals to families in collaboration with Ward Al Makassed, Beirut Municipality, and the Disaster Risk Management Room in the Beirut Governorate.

It is a story of human action adapting to circumstances! More than 650 hot meals in one night to support families deep in Beirut… In a month in which the Makhzoumi Foundation used to focus its efforts on community Ramadan initiatives, the crisis imposed a different reality this year. With the increasing number of displaced families in the Camille Chamoun Sports City, Ramadan work quickly turned into an emergency humanitarian response aimed at providing breakfast and suhoor for families far from their homes. The Foundation’s teams work daily, day and night, to distribute hot meals to families in cooperation with Ward Al-Maqasid, the Beirut Municipality, and the Disaster Risk Management Chamber in the Beirut Governorate.
