In this context, 600 food rations were delivered to a number of southern municipalities for distribution to displaced families, inside the warehouses of the “Action Against Hunger” organization in the Hilaliya area.

The head of the UNIFIL mission, Major General Deodato Abaniara, participated, along with the mayors of the municipalities of Maaroub, Sela, Dibal, Shehabiya, and Wadi Gilo, in the process of receiving the food rations allocated to the people.

UNIFIL confirmed that its support for displaced families, whether residing inside or outside its area of operations, continues in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions and increasing daily needs.
