On World Drug Prevention Day

Beirut didn’t just watch. Beirut reacted.

The Municipality of Beirut, in partnership with Makhzoumi Foundation and Oum El Nour Association, launched the seminar “Your Awareness is Stronger Than Any Addiction”

Not just words, not just a lecture, but the beginning of a project that changed the game.

And from the heart of that seminar was born Smart Beirut Prevention the Arab world’s first project combining drug prevention, mental health, and artificial intelligence into one integrated digital platform. A project developed by Professor Mohammad Dabboul on behalf of the Beirut Civil Society Events Committee, under the patronage of the Governor of Beirut, and in collaboration with the American University of Beirut, the Arts, Sciences, and Technology University in Lebanon, and the Lebanese Syndicate of Psychiatrists.

Because Beirut is not just a capital

Beirut today is the Arab pioneer in smart prevention.
