The Omani Foreign Minister announced that his country is making intensive efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, warning that the war is already causing widespread economic damage that may worsen if it continues.
He added that the conflict, regardless of attitudes towards Iran, is not of Tehran’s making.
