An Israeli public opinion poll showed, on Sunday evening, that 66% of Israelis were “concerned” about the possibility of the collapse of the Israeli army, following a warning from the Chief of Staff about that, while 43% confirmed that they were affected economically by the war on Iran.
Participants in a poll whose results were published on the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (“Kan 11”) were asked about the warning of the Israeli Army Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, about the possibility of the army’s “collapse,” in light of its being forced to fight on several fronts, in addition to laws that have not yet been enacted, such as recruiting Haredim into its ranks. 66% of the respondents responded that this statement raises their concerns.
40% of government coalition voters and 85% of opposition voters expressed their concern about Zamir’s statements.
Regarding the economic situation, participants were asked whether the war on Iran had affected their economic conditions, and 43% of them answered that their conditions had been affected, or were greatly affected, by the war.
