Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, received at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh the Minister of Finance, Yassin Jaber, where he reviewed developments in the general situation, especially financial ones, and political and field developments.
Speaker Berri also received a delegation from the Board of Trustees of the International Islamic Charitable Society, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Youssef Muhammad Baydoun, in the presence of a member of the Parliamentary Development and Liberation Bloc, Representative Muhammad Khawaja. During the meeting, a number of educational affairs and existing challenges were discussed. The delegation presented to Speaker Berri the work program of the association and its activities. The meeting was also an occasion during which the general situation in Lebanon and the latest developments were presented.
