President Berri followed the situation and developments during his meeting with the United Nations Special Coordinator in Lebanon, the United Nations Special Envoy to the Middle East, Sigrid Kaag, and the Chairman and members of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
His Excellency the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Nabih Berri, received at the headquarters of the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh the Special Coordinator of the United Nations in Lebanon, Jean Arnault, where the meeting discussed the latest developments in the general situation in Lebanon and the political and field developments as a result of Israel’s continued attacks and violation of the ceasefire agreement.
President Berri also followed up on developments and the general situation in Lebanon and the region and the repercussions of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon during his meeting with the UN Special Envoy to the Middle East, Sigrid Kaag, in the presence of the President of the University of Balamand, Dr. Elias Warraq.
The Speaker of Parliament also received the Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Judge Claude Karam, and members of the Commission.
