Qamati: There is no return to what was before March 2… We call on the people not to settle where they returned

The Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council, Mahmoud Qamati, denounced the speech of the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, criticizing “the blatant official ingratitude outside of diplomacy,” in light of the continued Israeli attacks, considering that “the state is running and rushing toward humiliation and humiliation and toward abandoning sovereignty step after step instead of clinging to its strongest cards.”

He said, during a press conference today, “The President of the Republic thanked the murderer and the criminal, but did not thank the one who saved us, which is Iran,” adding: “Thanks to Iran, which was able to impose a ceasefire through pressing international papers.”

Qamati stressed that “there is no return to what was before March 2, and the resistance’s finger will remain on the trigger,” stressing that “enough is enough and strategic patience has ended,” and that “we will not be satisfied with a ceasefire, and we will not return to what we were, no matter the price we offer, and we will not be patient after today.”

He also announced that “The Secretary-General of Hezbollah will present a detailed map for the next stage that will be announced,” pointing out that “the official nature of the negotiations does not negate the position of the people and the resistance, as the resistance is what determines destiny.” He added: “If the presidents of the republic and the government insist on the path of direct negotiations, then they are on the path and we are on the path.”

Qamati addressed the President of the Republic by saying: “If you respected this people, you would not have mentioned the criminal and murderer who killed our people and our people, namely Trump.” He also pointed out that “the issue of the truce and its duration depend on the developments of the facts on the ground,” calling on the people to “not settle where they returned and to be wary of Israeli treachery.”

A “yellow line” similar to the Gaza Strip
In this context, the Israeli enemy army spokesman said that “self-defense operations and removing threats are not subject to the ceasefire decision,” considering that “the continuation of operations in southern Lebanon demonstrates that the mechanism of action near the yellow line is completely similar to the Gaza Strip.”

He added, “Any gunman who approaches our forces in southern Lebanon or crosses the yellow line will be targeted,” noting that “the army is allowed to continue destroying buildings and infrastructure that are classified as a threat within the yellow line,” while “attacks are not allowed to be carried out in Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon outside the yellow line within the ceasefire.”

The occupation army also announced the targeting of people in several areas of southern Lebanon, allegedly violating the ceasefire understandings.
