Ali Hayek, the official in charge of foreign and expatriate relations in the Amal Movement, visited the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, accompanied by the official of the European continent, Mustafa Younes, and the head of the protocol department in the office, Osama Khayami, in the presence of the embassy’s advisors. The meeting was an occasion in which the two sides reviewed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, and emphasized France’s role in supporting Lebanon in international forums, and its constant standing by its side, while emphasizing the depth of the historical relations between the two countries. Ambassador Magro stressed France’s support. For Lebanon and for standing by its side, and that President Macron attaches great importance to the Lebanese file, and France will strive with all its capabilities and cooperation with the friends of Lebanon to support and assist it. He praised the great national role of President Nabih Berri and that his role is essential and pivotal in saving Lebanon. Hayek, in turn, thanked France for standing by Lebanon, stressing that it has a pivotal role in ending the war, rebuilding, and supporting Lebanon in international forums. The French ambassador delivered a message about the general situation in Lebanon as a result of the aggression that has continued since the year. 2024 and the resulting human and material losses and the aggravation of humanitarian crises, with a call to support Lebanon to overcome its ordeal and return security, stability and prosperity to its regions.
