During a field visit highlighting humanitarian efforts on the ground, Chakeeb Arslan School welcomed Ms. Karolina Lindholm Billing, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and HE Tom Wilson, Ambassador of Australia to Lebanon, where they reviewed Makhzoumi Foundation’s work within the shelter. The visit included a follow-up on the teams’ activities, particularly the mobile medical unit that visits the site every Tuesday to provide healthcare services, alongside recreational activities organized for children inside the school.
The visit reflects the importance of partnerships in supporting humanitarian response and enhancing access to essential services.

In a field visit that highlights humanitarian work on the ground, the Shakib Arslan School received Ms. Carolina Lindholm Billing, representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and His Excellency Ambassador Tom Wilson, Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, where they were briefed on the Makhzoumi Foundation’s efforts inside the shelter center. The visit included following up on the work of the teams, especially the mobile medical clinic that visits the center periodically every Tuesday to provide health services, in addition to the recreational activities that the team organizes for children inside the school.
