The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Army Intelligence Directorate arrested the Iraqi (T.N.) for impersonating an Iraqi security official inside Lebanese territory, as a result of a security monitoring and follow-up operation. The preliminary investigation revealed that he used forged documents. The military uniform he was using was also seized.
The investigation into the detainee continues under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
