The Iranian Ministry of Security announced the arrest of 19 terrorists, most of them foreigners, who belong to four cells affiliated with the United States and Israel.
The Ministry explained that those arrested were planning to carry out terrorist operations in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, located in southeastern Iran.
It also confirmed in its statement the confiscation of large quantities of light and semi-heavy weapons found in terrorist headquarters.
The Iranian Ministry of Security indicated that among the confiscated weapons and equipment: a “Dushka” cannon, RPG-7 rockets, and seven missiles, in addition to rifles and cameras that were in the possession of the targeted cells.
This operation comes in parallel with the Islamic Republic of Iran continuing its intensified campaigns to pursue spy networks supported by the Mossad and the United States of America, especially following the American-Israeli aggression against it.
