Cute 1930's Art Deco Dress Lapel Clip in Geometric design set with rainbow coloured Iris glass rhinestones to form a very typical arrow shaped geometric style which was a very popular design and subject during this period.
Today's fashions allow us to wear as originally purposed but also look fabulous styled on cuffs of shirts and jacket lapels & handkerchief pockets.
Iris glass was originated in Germany and has been popular over the years and known as rainbow stones and then much later as AB Aurora Borealis (very popular during 50's/60's) however the earlier stones are much clearer and finer cut paste compared to the rhinestones produced today.
Iris Glass is rare and sought after and pieces of this quality are hard to find today.
