When I first discount saw these Smoky Quartz, cut using the Quantum, or concave Cut -- I fell in love... This cut is so fluid, the sparkle so intense. I mean really, Smoky Quartz was always sort of a dull brown. NOT ANY MORE. These are really cool stones, with a life you've never seen before.

In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this Sterling Silver ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it. The stone weighs about 1.5 carats, and measures 8x6 mm.
