Grab it before it's discount gone! While this was a popular 1950s Mid-Century motif, the Woman on a Barrel, this one is a rare set I've not seen before. We've got a barrel decanter with a cork and ceramic stopper and the two mugs each with a reclining woman. Each woman wears a bright gold bikini, with gold bands on the barrels and natural beige glaze on all pieces. The barrels are all textured with a wood-grain effect. There are no makers marks on these, so had to be a sticker that's been lost over the years. Decanter measures: to the top of the spout stopper is about 7.5” / 20oz. volume. Cup Measures: Height just over 3" to the top of the gal's head / Volume: about 3oz. with room to walk Condition is great. A bit of glaze crazing usual for their age. Some wear to gold from hands handling over the years. No visible chips, cracks, or fleabites. on these. There is one chip on the foot of the decanter barrel, this is on the underside and hardly noticeable when it's standing up, see last pic.
