A special pen for that special person in the emergency medical field. Traditionally in the United States the "Star of Life" logo is used as a stamp of authentication or certification for ambulances, paramedics or other EMS personnel.

The snake emblem is the Rod of Asclepius, widely used as the symbol of medical care worldwide.

The design is made of laser cut light maple with the inlay pieces dyed blue.

The discount hardware can be customized to fit your taste. It is shown in Satin Chrome with chrome highlights. Please contact me thru Etsy in order to let me know how you would like to customize your pen.

This pen uses standard Parker style refills, and I have upgraded from standard ballpoint ink to a Parker style black gel refill.

Pen will ship with either a velvet bag or a case fit for gift giving. Buyer's choice!

I can make this and any of my other pens in just about any wood that you prefer. Acrylics come in most any color you can think of, and probably some you haven't! The hardware for this pen is also available in a chrome and satin finish.
