An incredibly well-preserved Danish Baby Boy Crawler made in the early to mid-1960s by the famous Royal Copenhagen company. This is a very special “Retired” edition designed by the late Else Sandholt. It is an authentic porcelain figurine produced through the “Pigmented Underglaze Technique”. After a worldwide search, we were unable to find any more of these extremely rare figurines. Additionally, this one is in ultra pristine condition. The adorable baby-boy has been displayed in a glass case for over 50 years and is flawless. 1518 is glazed beneath one hand and stamped under one foot. This is an investment grade fine art item. Considered as a family heirloom. Retail value if you could ever find one is $300, so no lowballing please. He weighs about 5.5 oz., and stands with his rear about 4” high.
