Marvel Villains A2 discount Poster

What would the Villains of Marvel look like if they were about to go into battle against the Heroes of Marvel?

That was my starting point for this print.

I had always been a fan of the Marvel Superheroes and Supervillains growing up and felt it was time to produce a piece of art in my own style, that attempted to capture this fact.

I enlisted the help of my brother (as he is a Marvel Master!) to produce a list of possible characters to include. The list contained 60 Villains; some of which hadn't gotten the exposure of some of the more popular ones!

I set about researching each character before sketching and colouring each one individually then composing them into one epic A2 print. After positioning each discount character, I added various lighting effects to show certain characters' superpowers and included dust clouds to give the impression that they were headed into a monumental battle.

The end result is a piece of art that has totally surpassed what I hoped to produce. I am so pleased with the outcome and feel that all the time spent on creating it was more than worth it!

I hope you have fun spotting all the Villains I have included. Hopefully, I have managed to get your favourites in there but I apologise if I have missed them out (space was limited!)
