Vintage Handmade Serbian Folk Costume discount Sash

A colorful vintage handwoven Serbian men's traditional belt/sash from the discount 1930s. These were typically worn wrapped around the wearer's waist over the waistband of their trousers with the ends tucked in--much like a modern cummerbund. Both ends are hemmed with scrap fabric in order to prevent fraying, and the vibrant colors are well preserved. The sash in excellent overall vintage condition, with a minor age-related hole in one section (see final photo with red circle as a marker).
