An Awesome Vintage discount Leafy Design Choker Necklace Featuring Faux Pearls and Rhinestones, Circa 1940's

I love this necklace! The combination of the gold-tone, satin finish and organic leaves with faux pearls and rhinestones--Oooooh! The choker consists of five oval-shaped links each with a leafy design. The largest link, in the center, measures 1 3/4-inches (46 mm) long and 1 1/8-inches (29 mm) wide. It is set with three faux half-pearls as well as baguette and round cut rhinestones that create a "pave" effect. The other oval links each measure 1-inch (25.5mm) in length and 11/16-inch (17.8 mm) and are also set with a faux pearl and rhinestones. The chain is a simple cable link style with a spring ring clasp. discount The mounting is made of a base metal with a gold-tone overlay that has a lovely satin finish. Condition is very good: the gold tone overlay has worn on some of the raised elements of the design and the metal has oxidized slightly.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term "delicate" in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or "wear with care". Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

*Care for Plastic or Foil Backed Rhinestone Jewelry: Take care to not drop vintage pieces, especially on hard surfaces. Vintage jewelry often has vintage epoxy securing the stones; if jarred with enough force, the epoxy can crumble or break and stones can fall out. Also, do not immerse plastic beads or foil back rhinestones in liquid cleaner. Best practices are to use a soft cloth with a small amount of cleaner (don't spray directly on rhinestones) and make sure to dry immediately. And, always put your jewelry on AFTER you have used perfume or hairspray. Your jewelry will thank you by staying sparkly for a long time!
