Vintage 1940s discount Striped Plastic Heart Shaped Dress Clip

Amazing vintage 1940s lacquered striped plastic heart shaped dress clip. I love the carved detail at the bottom of the heart and the bold stripes of brown, yellow and orange! The back has a long silver metal clip with prongs. This piece did not pass the simichrome polish test for bakelite but that may be because it is lacquered. There is some wear and a few small chips in the plastic, please see photos for discount details. This clip is in good, wearable vintage condition.
