Original, Clarice Cliff, Honeydew, Teapot, circa discount the 1940s

A beautiful Clarice Cliff, teapot dating from the early 1940s. The teapot is discount in good condition for it's age. There is minimal paint loss and the glaze is strong with no obvious signs of crazing. The Honeydew pattern is in the pink and green colour-way with brown and green banding. There is a green paint run near the bottom of the spout which must have occurred during production. There are no obvious cracks, chips or restoration but unfortunately at some point the teapot has lost it's lid and this is reflected in the price. There are no stamps to the base which is common in these tea sets. This is a genuine piece of Clarice Cliff that will display well either individually or as part of a set.
