50s Paper Towel Holder Wall-Mount White Painted discount Metal & Steel Spring-Loaded Vintage 1950s

This is a vintage 1950s, kitchen, metal, wall-mount, paper-towel holder. It is unmarked and measures approximately 1.75 inches wide by 12.75 inches in length. When installed with arms extended the depth measures 4 inches. It is spring-loaded with 2 arms which extend out in length 3.75 inches. One of the arms is outfitted with a spring. It is made of steel with a white-enameled bar and the arms are silver-tone metal. The circular parts that hold the towel roll in place have a red, wood ring which fits inside the cardboard center of the paper towels. One of the red, wood rings has split, but not compromised and perfectly functional. The arms are extremely tight against the paper towel so the roll does not turn easily. Perhaps this is good as some of the paper towel rolls today unroll by themselves which is a pain. Also there is quite a bit of rust & pitting on the steel arms with a few, minor, paint chips on the white bar as well. Regardless it still would make a nice, towel holder for a vintage kitchen.
