Antique Wooden Butter Mold or Press with what looks like a pumpkin design.

This beauty has a discount gorgeous patina, only achieved with age. It is hand carved and the wood is gorgeous. There are two cracks in the outer hood of the mold.

The mold itself has wheat sheaths on either side of the main carved decor. The main carving looks like a pumpkin, perfect for this time of year!

There is a sheaf of wheat on either side of the main carving. Wheat was a symbol of prosperity and wealth. This was one of the most popular butter mold symbols because it was associated with abundant crops.

This is a gorgeous mold!

Measures 7 1/2" high x 4 5/8" in diameter, Wooden Hood itself is 3 3/4" high
