Minister of Education Rima Karami indicated, in a press conference, that “any decision related to official exams must be based on a true understanding of the reality of students, and this decision bears responsibility for preserving the official certificate, and we cannot move towards a complete cancellation that affects the value of this certificate.”
She announced that “it was decided to adopt three consecutive courses for high school, with each student having the right to apply for two consecutive courses.”
Karami also announced “the cancellation of the intermediate certificate exams for this year.”
